WSDOT announced several road closures and lane restrictions affecting Bremerton, WA, beginning in late July and early August. The closures include a northbound SR 522 lane closure from 8 p.m. Aug. 5 to 3 a.m. Aug. 6, two-lane closures on I-90 from 8 p.m. Aug. 4 to 3 a.m. Aug. 5, and a right lane closure on eastbound SR 526 from 9 p.m. Aug. 6 to 5 a.m. Aug. 7.
Other closures include a one-day SR 211 lane closure on July 31, nightly US 2 closures from Aug. 3 to Aug. 7, and SR 20 closures from 9 p.m. Aug. 4 to 5 a.m. Aug. 5. The Vantage Bridge restrictions and I-5 on-ramp work remain ongoing with no end date specified.
Residents should plan for delays during these closures, with some projects expected to cause 20-minute delays. WSDOT advises drivers to allow extra travel time and follow flagger instructions during work hours.
