State Route 99 First Avenue South Bridge will close northbound lanes from Aug. 15-17 and Aug. 22-24, per WSDOT. The closures include the First Avenue South on-ramp to northbound SR 509 and other nearby ramps.

The bridge work affects traffic flow for drivers heading north from Bremerton toward Seattle. WSDOT says the closures will last two weekends, with full reopening expected by midnight on Aug. 24.

WSDOT maintenance crews will also close southbound I-5 lanes nightly through Aug. 13 and close a transit lane on Evergreen Point Road on Aug. 11-12.
