Bremerton Highway Closures Begin This Week

WSDOT announced multiple highway construction and closure updates effective this week for Bremerton and surrounding areas.

Beginning Wednesday, Aug. 5, SR 116 between Shotwell Road and Chimacum Creek Drive will see single-lane closures to prepare for a full closure for a fish passage project. The closures will continue through Oct. 31. Meanwhile, SR 411 northbound between Sandy Bend Road and Cook Ferry Road will have flagger-controlled traffic from Aug. 4-7 daily 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for utility work.

I-405 will see multiple nightly lane closures through Aug. 7 for construction work, including southbound HOV lane closures and northbound lane closures. The right general-purpose lane of southbound I-405 will close nightly from 10:30 p.m. to 4 a.m. through Aug. 7.
