WSDOT announced multiple road closures and lane shifts affecting Bremerton and surrounding areas from July 27 through August 7. The most extensive changes include nightly closures on southbound I-405 from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m. through July 31, and a one-lane closure on SR 203 from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday mornings through Friday mornings starting July 27.
Additional closures include a traffic shift on westbound SR 532 from 9 p.m. Sunday to 4 a.m. Monday, August 2-3; a northbound SR 522 lane closure from 8 p.m. Wednesday to 3 a.m. Thursday, August 5-6; and a daily traffic alternation on SR 96 from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. through July 31. The most immediate closure is a single day lane closure on SR 211 from 6:17 a.m. to 9 p.m. July 30.
WSDOT states the work includes paving projects, utility maintenance, and traffic management. Flaggers and pilot cars will direct traffic through closed lanes. Motorists should plan for delays and consider alternative routes during the specified times.
